Response to Vol. 1, No. 2 of Explore:

Thank goodness for Dr. Rick Snyder. Until I read about his study on hope, I was never able to fully explain to those who questioned me how I reached virtually every goal I attempted. I remember always saying in response, "I just believed I could." I now realize that it is a combination of believing and hoping that keeps me going.

P.S. I was raised by my grandparents until age 4 -- in their eyes I could do no wrong and I think perhaps that was reflected back to me as a child. Just a thought!
